Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone, born on 5 January, 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko or [paDuko"paDuko") is an Indian film actress. She is most often seen in films with a Hindi language. She is one of the actresses with the highest salaries in India Her awards includes three Filmfare Awards. In lists of some of America's top stars; Time named her one of the top 100 influential people around the globe in the year 2018 and gave her with the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone is the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone. She was born in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. In her teens she competed in badminton at the national championships, but she resigned her career in the sport in order to be a fashion designer. She soon began receiving offers to act in films and her first performance was that of Aishwarya the Kannada protagonist. Padukone later played the dual part as Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007), her debut Bollywood film. The film was awarded Padukone her the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut.
