April Ross
April Ross is only one of the few beach volleyball athletes to win medals at least twice in an Olympics. Alix klineman, who is taking part for the very first time at Tokyo's Olympic Games is hoping to secure her third gold medal. Ross is also hoping to win her first Olympic gold. At 39, this could be her last chance to achieve it. She's certain that the top prizes can be achieved. Ross through NBC Boston, said that if the team plays well or at all it could be able to win gold. In addition, I'm planning put my faith in a touch of good luck. Ross was born on August 22nd, 1982 located in Costa Mesa California. She resided in the area along with her entire family. Along with competing in various sports, Ross also attended Newport Harbor High School. Apart from the indoor game, she also ran track and basketball in her pre-college days. Although she was a pro at indoor volleyball however, it was evident that her performance was above average. When she played in her college volleyball season as per her college bio, she was an outside-hitter, middle-blocker and setter. She was named the Gatorade National Circle of Champions Player of the Year in 1999, for her performance. In 2000, the Orange County Athlete of the Month was also received by her due to her volleyball skills. Ross Klineman and Ross may have begun working together at the beginning of 2017, but Ross was an experienced volleyball player before they joined forces. In fact, she won multiple major tournaments with two different partners, among them the volleyball legend. From 2007 until 2013, she was partnered by Jennifer Kessy, who is the coach she is currently. Ross, the teammate of Kessy's, who won the world title together with Kessy in 2009, also was an important player on the an international level. At the 2012 Olympic Games, they were awarded a gold medal. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) as well as Misty Maytreanor clinched gold overtaking them. Ross Jennings was May-Treanor's replacement when she retired. They both went on to take home the bronze beach volleyball medal at the Rio Olympics 2016. They were joined by Walsh Jennings. Ross played for the Trojans of USC during her college days, the years prior to her professional career. And her run at USC was an impressive one. When she was a freshman in 2000 the Trojans' performance earned her the Pac-10 and NCAA the Freshman of the Year award. Her performance also assisted in helping the Trojans reach into the Final Four. In her sophomore season she suffered a devastating personal loss and still was able to be named an All-American. In her last two years, she took the Trojans up to the summit and took home consecutive national championships. In 2003-2004, Ross was named the top female volleyball player on the collegiate scene in the US according to The Honda Sports Award. Ross played international relations as a student at USC. Margie Ross was never able to see her daughter achieve the heights of beach volleyball. Ross's mom Margie passed away in 2001. Ross was still a USC sophomore. The cancer was diagnosed as breast. But she still keeps her parent close to his heart. Also, Margie continues to be an inspiration to her on the beaches and throughout the world of.
